“Warhorse of computing”

Here is an interesting New York Times article, written by Steve Lohr,  titled “Why Old Technologies Are Still Kicking”.  I would agree with Steve in describing the IBM mainframe as  ”the aged, yet remarkably resilient warhorse of computing.”
